Photo Sharing for Extra Rewards

Submitting photos as part of your game result logging process not only helps ensure transparency but also earns you extra rewards on the Ranking platform. Here’s how to make the most of this feature:

Sharing Photos

Ranking supports both physical and digital games. Photos serve as verification of your participation and results, enhancing trust and fairness while reducing disputes.

  • For Physical Games: Capture a photo of yourself and the game environment, such as: on a soccer field, beside a tennis court, at a chessboard, Playing bowling or any other physical activity

  3. Completeness: Include all necessary details, such as:
  • Your face (optional but recommended for better authenticity)
  • The gaming environment (for physical games)

  1. Authenticity: Avoid any editing or manipulation of the image that could compromise its validity.

Tips for High-Quality Photos

  • Lighting: Ensure there is sufficient lighting to capture all details clearly.
  • Focus: Use a stable hand or a tripod to avoid blurry images.
  • Framing: Center the main subject (you and/or the game environment or screen) in the photo.
  • Context: Include identifiable elements in the background that connect the photo to the game (e.g., the court, field, or gaming screen).

Steps for Uploading Photos

  1. Access the Submission Form:
  • Go to the Submit Result section of your profile dashboard.
  • Click the Submit Result button or use the + (plus) icon and select “Result” from the menu.
  1. Fill Out the Game Details:
  • Choose whether the game was individual or team-based.
  • Specify the game name and your competitor(s).
  1. Upload the Photo:
  • Click the Upload Photo button in the submission form.
  • Select the photo that meets the above criteria from your device.
  1. Submit the Result:
  • Review your entry, then click Submit and claim free $MGC to complete the process.

Benefits of Photo Submission

  • Extra Rewards: Earn additional MGC rewards for verified photo submissions.
  • Dispute Prevention: Photo evidence reduces the likelihood of disputes, ensuring smoother approvals.
  • Trust and Transparency: Builds a fairer community on the Ranking platform.

By following these steps and guidelines, you can enhance your gaming experience and maximize your rewards on Ranking!

Searching for Players, Teams, Games, Ranks or Tournaments

Search for Players, Teams, and their Ranks

Finding players or teams on Ranking is essential for various scenarios such as challenging opponents, joining tournaments, exploring player ranks, or building your community by sending friend requests or follows. Here's how you can efficiently search for players and teams:

1. Access the Leaderboard

The Leaderboard is your go-to resource for viewing player and team information, including:

  • Global Rank (G. Rank): A player's worldwide ranking.
  • Rank Difference (G. Dif): How their rank has changed over the past 24 hours.
  • F. Rank (Filtered Rank): The player’s rank based on the applied. For example, if you select the \"Billiard\" game, \"USA\" area, and \"League 1,\" the F. Rank will show the ranking of billiard players in the USA within League 1.
  • Username/Team Name: The player or team name.
  • Score: The points they've earned.
  • Coins: Their accumulated coins.
  • Community Connections: Whether they’re your friend, team member, competitor, or someone you follow.

You can access the Leaderboard in two ways:

  • Scroll Down: Navigate to the bottom of the main page to find the Leaderboard section.
  • Rank Tab: Click on the \"Rank\" tab in the top navigation bar.

2. Use Search and Filter Options

At the top of the Leaderboard, you'll find filters to narrow down your search:

  • Game: Select a specific game to focus on.
  • Area: Search within a particular location.
  • Region: Find players or teams from a specific region.
  • League: Narrow results based on the league players or teams belong to.
  • Rank: Filter players by their global rank.
  • Username: Look up specific players.

3. Searching for Teams

If you’re looking for a team:

  • Switch to the Teams tab at the top-right corner of the Leaderboard.
  • Use the filters (Game, Area, Region, League, Rank) to locate your desired team.

By utilizing these tools, you can easily find the players or teams you're looking for, explore their profiles, and grow your gaming network!

The Games section on Ranking allows you to explore, filter, and join games easily. Whether you're looking for the most popular games, trending options, or something new, here's how to navigate this section:

1. Access the Games Section

  • Navigate to the Games section via the top navigation bar on the Ranking site.

2. In this Section, You’ll Find:

  • Most Played Games: Games with the highest player participation.

You can send requests to join a team or receive invitations from a team without having the game joined.

5. Suggesting New Games

If the game you want to join isn’t available on Ranking:

  • Use the Suggest a New Game button located at the top-right of the Games List section to request its addition. (Learn more about how to request a game to be added on Ranking here).

Gameplay Modes

Gameplay Modes Overview

Ranking offers three primary gameplay modes to cater to diverse gaming preferences: Solo Play, Team Play, and Tournaments. Here's an overview of each mode:

1. Solo Play

Solo Play is a one-on-one competition where two players face off in a selected game. Here's how it works:

  • Inviting a Player: Players can invite another user to a game. The invitation form allows players to specify key details such as:
  • Game Title (must be selected at the start)
  • Game Type (digital or physical)
  • Time and Venue (for physical games) or Platform (for digital games)
  • Referee Options: Decide if a referee is required and, if so, who it will be.
  • Adjusting Details: Other game specifics can be finalized later using Ranking's messaging tools, external communication methods, or any agreed-upon approach. These finalized details must be updated on Ranking.
  • Joining the Game: Both players must confirm their participation by joining the game on Ranking to begin competing.
  • League Requirement: Players must belong to the same league to ensure fair matches and similar skill levels.

2. Team Play

  • Joining a Team:
  • Browse existing teams on Ranking and request to join.
  • Captains review and approve new members.
  • Forming a Team:
  • Create a new team from scratch.
  • Invite friends or Ranking players to join.
  • Team Management:
  • Teams are managed by a Captain who:
  • Assigns roles.
  • Coordinates gameplay schedules.
  • Oversees team operations.
  • Playing as a Team:
  • Participate in team games where collaboration is key.
  • Earn rewards collectively for team achievements.

3. Tournaments

Tournaments offer a competitive format for solo players and teams to showcase their skills and win prizes. Here's what you need to know:

  • Tournament Types: Players can join either Solo Tournaments or Team Tournaments.
  • Finding a Tournament: Use filters to search for tournaments by: game type, mode (solo or team), etc.
  • Joining a Tournament: Tournaments on Ranking often require an entry fee, which can vary depending on factors like the organizer's settings and sponsorships. To join a tournament:
  • Review the tournament rules carefully to understand the guidelines and requirements.
  • Pay the entry fee as specified.
  • Confirm your participation to secure your spot and compete!
  • Gameplay and Prizes: Compete in scheduled matches and log results.

If you win a tournament, the prize is allocated to you after the submission of the results and confirmation by the organizer.

For team tournaments, when your team wins, the prize is allocated to the team account and distributed by the team captain.

  • Prizes: The prize pool is displayed on the tournament page and varies for each event.
  • Sponsored Tournaments: Some tournaments are sponsored, offering higher rewards and unique opportunities for participants.
  • Team Prize Distribution: In team tournaments, prizes are allocated to the team and can later be distributed among players by the team captain.
